Artist's Comments

This is my darling child Dusk. It is a guitar that was abandoned in my front lawn. I took it in and gave it shelter. It was originally an ugly yellow so I sanded that off and dragged out my acrylics. I know, I know I'm not supposed to use those on a guitar but I don't care since it still sounds fine. I chose a gender neutral name because this guitar refuses to have one. My other guitars do have genders and names, but Dusk refuses so I will use both male and female pronouns.

The words are "I am he as you are he as you are me and we are all together." These are the opening words to "I Am the Walrus" by The Beatles. I went through about a billion designs before I settled with this one. They ranged from lyrics, to portraits, to intricate Galifreyan designs. Alas I got lazy and went for words. The photo doesn't do the colurs justice.

This is the most amazing guitar design I have ever seen.

Good job on painting it

Thank you so much! I'm glad you like my design, especially since it went through so many revamps. It was definately a project that makes me wish I had more things to paint on.

Also, I Am The Walrus indeed. Nice handle, I'm obviously a supporter.
